St Margaret’s Hospice

East Coker Parish Council have always been very proud to have St Margaret’s Hospice in our Parish.
Over the years many residents of East Coker have undertaken many funding activities for St Margaret’s and have donated many thousands of pounds to the hospice.
Like many others, East Coker Parish Council are saddened at the news that the inpatient facility at Yeovil may be closed and moved to the Taunton site.
East Coker Parish Council calls upon the trust and board of St Margaret’s Hospice, The Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, and the Somerset County Council via it’s Adult Services to all work together to ensure that this much loved and valuable service of inpatient end of life care is maintained at the Yeovil Hospice for many years to come.
