This will enable Kier to carry out emergency patching on behalf of
Somerset Highways.
The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through
the site is permitted on this occasion.

Please be aware that we have received notification of a temporary road closure at Primrose Hill, East Coker for approximately 1220 metres, which will commence on 23rd July 2025 and is expected to last until 27th July 2025 (between 07:00 to 19.00hrs). These works are for Kiely Bros to carry out prep works, surface dressing and associated works on behalf of Somerset Highways , their works reference is LG018-SD001142-SD-03.
The road will be reopened when no works are taking place. Signage will be placed on site. There may be a need for additional closures at a later date and if so, a noticfication will be sent for these.

The order becomes effective on 10th July 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 16th July 2025 and last for 7 hours (08:30 – 15:30) to enable Openreach to replace poles.
