Village Ranger

The Parish is fortunate in having the services of an excellent Village Ranger, Tim Foster, who is keeping our villages looking beautiful and well cared for. He normally comes once a week and performs a number of important tasks throughout the parish, including:

Horticultural works/cutting back overgrowth/bulb and tree planting
Management of environmental/conservation areas
Management of drains and flood mitigation
Litter clearance
Installation and maintenance of fences/gates/stiles on footpaths
Herbicide application, if required, in non-conservation areas
Clearance of weeds/grass, etc from pavements

The councillors usually have a list of jobs for him each week, but if you see something that has been missed for a while or is safety related, please get in touch with the clerk (clerk@eastcokerparish.com
